Striking Constructions delivered this purpose-built Trade Plumbing Centre, creating a specialised learning environment designed to provide students with practical, industry-focused training. The project was centred around the construction of a substantial 3-metre-deep concrete sand pit, extending approximately 1 metre below the second floor, allowing students to undertake realistic underground plumbing and drainage exercises.
A carefully engineered irrigation and drainage system was integrated into the facility to maintain safe and suitable training conditions while supporting ongoing practical use. The building also incorporates flexible teaching spaces and dedicated training areas that replicate real-world industry environments.
The completed project provides a unique educational facility that combines innovative construction with practical functionality, delivering an industry-standard training space that prepares students for future careers in the plumbing and construction sectors.
